“The Central Nucleus Flock has found new homes”
The three CN families (Shackleton, Eneabba and Meridale/Rambouillet) will now be located at three different sites. Starting in the north the Eneabba flock will be owned/managed by Ray and Craig Morgan at Three Springs (Ray Ph 08-9954-1014, Fax 08-9954-1354 and Craig Ph 08-9955-2001, Fax 08-99552061). In the Central region the Shackleton flock will be owned/managed by myself and Lucille at Brookton (Phone 08-9642-1379, Fax 08-9642-1327). Then in the south east Ian and Margaret Hesford will own/manage the Meridale/Rambouillet flock at Grass Patch (Ph 08-9075-7080, Fax 08-9075-7083). We are all experienced RBC managers, though there will now be increased responsibilities associated with running these flocks. May I say on behalf of us all, that there is definitely an increasing level of excitement with the prospects of running these flocks and we are very encouraged by the future prospects for the breeders of AMS sheep. I would like to thank the Shepherd/Stacey family for all of their enthusiasm and dedication whilst running the Central Nucleus flock for the benefit of AMS members.
Ashley Hobbs, President
